About
Jessica Hunt is the founder of Jessica Hunt Photography and principal photographer of the JHP Creative Team. She has over 10 years of experience in the wedding industry and has photographed over 175 wedding celebrations.
Influenced by her empathy and care for her clients’ stories and legacy, she is passionate about creating images that allow couples to connect on a deeper level and showcase the talent and work of each event’s creative team.
Jessica’s extensive career in the wedding industry has resulted in hundreds of publications of her work online and in print. Her work has graced the cover and pages of dozens of print magazines in recent years. She is one of Rangerfinder’s 30 Rising Stars Nominees, a Hall of Fame photographer at The Knot, and has received over 100 five star reviews online from her couples.
Jessica has a warm personality and knack for making anyone in front of her lens feel comfortable. Couples who love to laugh, feel nervous about being photographed, or are looking for a joyful and calm addition to their wedding day are a great fit for Jessica and her team.

Before the Event
After developing a custom proposal for your couple’s event, Jessica will send a thorough questionnaire to the couple to gather photo requests and important event details. Jessica will craft a customized photography timeline based on the planner’s event timeline so she can ensure there is enough time to capture her best work and keep the day running smoothly. She’ll work with planners in advance to prepare for any publication feature needs and will remain in consistent contact with the planner and couple as the day approaches.
Day of Event
As we celebrate with the couple and follow our creative team’s timeline, Jessica will focus on walking the couple through their photography with ease and seamless collaboration with the creative team. Jessica brings a sense of joyful, calm energy to every event and navigates weddings with professionalism, treating each couple (and their vendor team) with kindness and respect. She’ll bring an assistant to act as an extra pair of hands, gather family members for photos, alleviate any frustration, and make sure she gets every last shot!
After the Event
Jessica will deliver a preview gallery 1 week after the event and a full, digital gallery collection within 6-8 weeks. These private galleries are easy to access, download images, and share with loved ones. She’ll also collaborate with the event’s planner to coordinate any publication submissions and facilitate the entire submission process for the creative team unless otherwise advised.
